Six Single Academy Trusts and Six Community Schools Come Together To Form Humber Education Trust

Humber Education Trust is a new MAT in Hull which opened in September 2017.  Gail Khan Associates were appointed project managers to the project and have successfully ensured that as at the 1 November, 6 of the 12 schools are in the new MAT.  Gail Khan Associates supported all aspects of the conversions and set up including facilitating stakeholder consultation, managing governance and legal discussions and ensuring communications were clear and timely.

A New Church of England MAT for North Yorkshire Opens

Gail Khan Associates were appointed as the overall project managers in the creation of Dales Academies Trust in North Yorkshire and Teesside in Spring 2017.  The Trust supported by two Church of England Diocese (York & Leeds) is working together to support a mix of 12 Primary and Secondary schools becoming academies and joining a new and exciting Trust.  The Trust formed in November 2017 with six schools joining on day one and all remaining schools will be in the…

Talking at Bradford City Football Club

Gail Khan was delighted to speak to an audience of Primary School Business Managers at Bradford City Football Club. Gail talked to a full audience about what is involved in securing Academy status and sharing experiences of what lessons can be learned along the way. There was a lively discussion around key questions for Business Managers when moving forward.

New appointment in Bradford District

New appointment! This month Gail Khan Associates were given the role to project manage the formation of a new Multi-Academy Trust in Bradford District called Bronte Academy Trust. Initially comprising of three primary schools Gail and her associate team will work with the schools to prepare the MAT for opening in July 2016.

A fantastic new appointment in South Kirklees

Gail Khan Associates are delighted to be appointed to manage the transition of four new schools in South Kirklees to form a new MAT and become Academies in 2016. We are really excited about this project and are looking forward to working closely with such a committed team and to establishing these new academies.
