Supporting the Successful Launch of ACE Derbyshire Trust   

1 September marked an exciting milestone for Gail Khan Associates as we celebrated the successful formation of ACE Derbyshire Trust followed by the conversion of the first five schools into the Trust. We’re proud to have provided support on the successful application to form the Trust followed by comprehensive project management support for this venture, working hand-in-hand with the dedicated ACE leadership team to bring this vision to life. 

Navigating a project with so many moving parts was no easy feat. From legal intricacies and operational shifts to the complexities of adapting to a multi-academy trust model, our team collaborated closely with ACE’s new leadership to deliver a smooth transition for each school joining the Trust. The result is a structure designed to serve not only the unique needs of the member schools but also the broader Derbyshire area. 

We’re delighted to recognise the hard work and dedication of ACE Derbyshire Trust’s leadership team: Nicola Foulds, CEO; Ann Duffy, CFO; and Paula Chisholm, Director of School Improvement. Their combined experience and deep understanding of the challenges facing small, rural schools promise to bring valuable, tailored support to their communities. We wish them every success as they begin their journey with ACE Derbyshire Trust, knowing the positive impact they are poised to make.
