Gail Khan Associates (GKA) is thrilled to announce the successful approval of four free school applications for our clients.  We are delighted to have played a pivotal role in supporting the following applications: 

Prosper Learning Trust – South Tyneside Special Free School (STSFS): The new special free school in Jarrow will provide 56 primary education places for children aged between four and 11, who have additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health needs. 

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust – Fairfax Primary Free School (Middlesbrough): Designed for children with neurodiverse conditions aged 3-11 years, Fairfax Primary Free School will offer a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This innovative school will cater to the unique learning styles and needs of neurodiverse learners. 

Unity Schools Partnership – Unity SLD School (Suffolk): Unity SLD School is an all-through institution catering to pupils aged 3 – 16 with Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD). Located in Suffolk, this school will provide a holistic and inclusive educational experience, empowering students to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. 

Solent Academies Trust – Whiteley Academy (Hampshire):  Whiteley Academy is an all-through school serving pupils aged 4 – 19 with Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD). Situated in Hampshire, this school will use the collective expertise  of the trust to provide more children with an outstanding specialist education provision in the area.
