Gail Khan Associates are pleased to announce the opening of Prosper Learning Trust's new school Harry Watts Academy in Sunderland on 1 September 2020. Harry Watts Academy is a special school providing education for children aged 5-16 based in the city of Sunderland. Starting with 8 pupils in the temporary site at Harraton and growing to 96 pupils by September 2022.
Gail Khan Associates have been working with Prosper Learning Trust and the Local Authority in Sunderland to secure temporary accommodation for their new school Harry Watts Academy. The temporary site will open in September with the permanent build being ready in 2021. Prosper will receive the keys to the temporary site on 24 August where the finishing touches with furniture and equipment will be installed ready for the start of term.
Crossley Hall Primary School in Bradford became the fourth school to join Pennine Academies Yorkshire on the 1 December 2018. GKA were responsible for the overall project management and ensuring conversion was achieved on schedule and within the agreed budget
